Ann Cramer
Director North America, IBM Corporate Community Relations

To those who know Ann Cramer, the first word that comes to mind (as well as a large smile) is energy. Ann exudes an abundance of energy and enthusiasm for her work and her community. She is often dubbed and celebrated as the “cheerleader” for her commitment to and compassion for issues related to education and children, which she advocates for in Georgia. She is one of those lucky souls whose avocation gets intermingled with her vocation.

Ann is the Director for North America Corporate Community Affairs for IBM and in that role she also is the chief advocate and or community volunteer for numerous organizations and issues related to improving the quality of life for children in Georgia. Ann’s commitment to and involvement with children and youth has been a lifelong journey. Ann and her family, husband Jeff and two children, Wil and Megan, are active members of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, where Ann served as Senior Warden of the Vestry. Her work with IBM allows her to work for the improvement of conditions for families, because of IBM’s historic involvement with and investment in local communities. IBM is committed to K-12 education, job training and employment, community and family services, literacy programs, and support for the disabled and disadvantaged through its people and technology.

Ann has been personally and professionally involved in many of the most influential educational program and policy groups in the state including the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education, Communities in Schools, Voices for Georgia’s Children, The Georgia Chamber of Commerce, the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, and the United Way to name a few. She has also served on the boards of the Carter Center, the Woodruff Arts Center, the Alliance Theatre Company, and the Georgia Shakespeare Festival.

Ann will share her passions and enthusiasms with us, as well as her own sense of balance and commitment to those never ending spirals of life that women often find themselves in as they contemplate their own levels of service and commitment to family, work, spirituality, community and self.

Please let us know you're coming!
