The 2008 Stewardship Emphasis Season will run from October 14 through Pledge Dedication Sunday on November 4.
Feel free to post discussion topics in the group forum, but note that we have a team member who is not on e-mail:
Eddie is out at a conference until Wednesday, and much of what we need to accomplish in our next meeting is to review the communications materials. Consequently, we are going to postpone tomorrow's Stewardship meeting. We're looking at Wednesday the 26th as a possible date to reschedule. Please send me an e-mail to let me know if this works for you.
Team,
As a quick reminder, we'll have a Stewardship meeting tomorrow at the church at 11:30 a.m. Again, lunch will be served. Thanks, and I look forward to seeing you there!
-Greg

Would someone be able to swap deacon duty for me on 8/19. I will be out of town that day.
Thanks!
After a bit of difficulty juggling a few calendars, we think we have a meeting date for the next Stewardship team meeting. Based on group feedback, mid-week around lunch was generally best. Our next meeting will be Wednesday, July 25, at 11:30 a.m.. Please sign up at http://community.napc.org/node/1351 if you'll be able to attend. Thanks, and enjoy tomorrow's holiday!
We will meet at the church in room 408. Richard will have sandwiches, chips, and drinks for us.
Attached is a matrix describing the missions of NAPC. NOte that we have organized them to make our 'spread' more accessible to those who would want to get involved.
Might we try to make a DVD like the one Tom made for the World Mission Conference? THis would have video and pictures of these activities.
Team,
Last year, we received some feedback that the length of the Stewardship Emphasis Season (5 weeks) might be too long. One response would be to shorten the length of the emphasis season, possibly to four weeks. Does this allow enough time to communicate the key themes? How will this be received by the congregation? Do we lose anything by shortening the duration?
Thanks to each of you for your willingness to serve! And please accept my apologies if you have received this message in error. We had several people contacting individuals to see if they would be willing to serve on this year's Stewardship team, and if I included you by mistake, you can just e-mail me at greg.scherrer@gmail.com -- I'll take you off the list.
Todd Patrick and I, the co-chairs of this year's team, along with Scott and Roger, are so pleased to have a great group of people to think through matters pertaining to stewardship this year as we prepare for the emphasis season beginning in October.
