Communications team,
It looks like the next formal meeting time wasn't discussed at last month's meeting. Consequently, and due to the late notice, we will not have a formal meeting today.
However, for those that are available and were planning on being there, we can have an informal check-in around 4:30 regarding the status of the directory and anything else we need to discuss. While it's not required that you're there at 4:30, for those that are interested, we can gather near Whitney's office and either meet there or find a meeting room.
Thanks,
-Greg
Officers,
See note below from Bill MacNabb, who with his wife Cindy has graciously stepped in to coordinate this effort! Thanks, Bill and Cindy!
Cindy and I have taken on the responsibility for filling the host/hostess time slots for the picture taking sessions. (This is the person who greets people and helps them fill out info cards before their photo session.) It looks like we're going to need some additional help.
Below are our needs in order of urgency:
Tuesday April 1 -- 5:30 - 9 p.m.
Wednesday April 2 -- 5:30 - 9 p.m.
Saturday April 5 -- 11 - 1 p.m.
2 - 5 p.m.
Tuesday April 8 -- 5:30 - 9 p.m.
Wednesday April 9 -- 5:30 - 9 p.m.
Please respond to me (Bill) to let me know if you can or cannot help.
If you can help, please name your preferred shift along with any alternates you can. We'll confirm your assigned shift. If you cannot help it would be great if you could recruit somebody else.
Please call me at 404-784-2162 or Cindy at same-1926 if you have a question or would like to immediately confirm your shift.
Thanks very much,
Bill (wcmacnabb@dealerssupply.net)
Deacons and Elders,
We need your help for an important hospitality ministry! As we invite families to come have their photographs taken for the new pictorial directory, we need some smiling faces to greet each family and help them complete paperwork prior to their photo session.
Please consider signing up for a timeslot with a friend or a family member! The photo sessions run April 1-5, April 8-12, and May 6-9, with two time slots each day. You can sign up to volunteer on-line by looking for events on the calendar and signing up for one of the "Volunteer Hosting" events at:
http://community.napc.org/event/2008/04/01/month/
Or, you can contact Whitney Williams at whitney@napc.org.
Thanks for your consideration, as I know you are all extremely busy!
In Christ,
-Greg
If you receive this message, it is because you are subscribed to the Evangelism and Neighborhood Outreach team on the NAPC community page. This team has been dormant for some time now, due to an ongoing search for an Associate Pastor of Evangelism. I am trying to determine who is going to serve on this team, so please let me know if you are still interested in being on this list.
